I  hand painted the fabrics for the flowers and leaves, the background and border fabrics are batiks.  The use of many different colored threads and heavy stitching in critical locations created the dimension I wanted for the leaves and flowers.  Third Place, Longarm Quilting, Quilt Odyssey, 2006, Hershey, PA., American Quilters Society Show, 2006, Paducah, KY

The challenge with this quilt was to allow the design and fabrics to be the focus of the quilt.  I wanted my quilting co compliment the piece work and the circular design. 

This quilt won Best Use of Color, PNQE 2003,  Third Place, Quilters Heritage Celebration, 2003 and Third Place, American Quilters Society, Paducah, 2004

I was commissioned by Andover Fabrics to design this quilt using a new line of fabric by Lonni Rossi.  Andover used this quilt in their display at International Quilt Market.
